Anyone have a wiseco 440 big bore kit? Im looking to get one, just wondering if i should look for something else

Yeah i did...but the wiseco is about $300 cheaper

the wiseco kit doesn't come with a new jug, just a sleeve right? i know the athena kit comes with jug and pistion. which is nice, if you blow the 440 you always have a replacement. that why i'm going with the athena kit, unless your found a wiseco full kit 300 cheaper. let me know.

no still debating if i should get that or the athena...the wiseco isnt the full kit its just the sleeve and piston. but ill let you know if i do

If you go on ebay you can get every thing you need to re sleeve it for about 250$ it comes as a "kit" including the gaskets, piston, rings, and sleeve. all you would need to do is take your cylinder to a local machine shop and have the sleeve installed. Thats the path I chose and its worked great and I saved a lot of money.

yeah trust me the athena is the way to go for a good motor job. the motor builder i brought mine to tried the boring for the 440 with a wiseco, cracked 2 cylinders trying, and now here i am with the athena and it runs great.
