Got it running Thursday night (thanks, Gary!). Saturday morning, I buttoned it up and finished up some last minute small adjustments. And took him to the track. It took him a minute to adjust to it (he's been used to his 90EX), but after about 5 laps he had it pinned 90% of the time and was hitting the jumps. I got out there with him on his 90EX and I could NOT pass him.....I was giving that little 90 hell! :D But I noticed the rear left tire had a wobble to it and shortly after, the bead broke. So we loaded the bikes up and headed to the nearest shop to have it put back on. (no charge). Got back on the track and about 20 minutes later, it broke the bead again. I think the yahoo's at Discount tire may have bent the wheel when they were mounting the tires back on after I had the wheels powder coated. Either that or the axle is bent. Raising the bike on a jack and spinning the rear, I cant really notice a bend in the axle...so it looks like I have a 50/50 shot at getting it fixed (on the first attempt) with a wheel or axle. So he had to spend the rest of the day riding the 90 w/ his DRR loaded up on the trailer.
Got some more pics. Blue frame, black plastics. Gonna put his number decals and plates on this evening.

Oh yeah, I got him the Leatt neck brace a few weeks ago. He hasnt said a THING about it bothering him or getting in the way. Gives us a little bit of reassurance when he's riding w/ it. Think I may have sold a couple more braces to the parents who were out at the track asking about it.
One things for sure....these DRR's draw a crowd. We had a group of about 10 people checking it out when it was on the trailer. When we were loading up, I had to have a question/answer session w/ everybody. LOL

Thanks. Yeah, you can get the graphics from brmoffroad.com. Just like Gary's, huh? My son saw Gary's son's skull graphics and LOVED it. Thanks Gary!

Took the axle off last night. Took the left wheel off first and spun the axle. Couldnt see any signs of a bend. Took the hub off. Put the hub on the kitchen counter and spun it....seemed straight. Pulled the axle off...still so signs of a bend. Rolled the axle and STILL no signs of a bend. So even after all of my high tech testing, I cant find what's bent. New wheel will be here today...axle will be here tomorrow. I'll put the new wheel on tonight and hope for the best.
Any input as to what I may be overlooking?

We had the same thing happen with one of our stock rear tire/rim. Would not hold the tire on. Ended up getting pro wheel rims with snow hog rear tires. No problems at all with the tires now.

Is the bead fully seated all the way around the rim?If not it will wobble like crazy.I have had to put quite a bit of air in the to get them to pop out sometimes.Nice quad by the way......love the skull :macho

Well, it was never ridden before the wheels got PC'd. They went straight from the crate to the oven. So I cant say for sure if it was a factory defect or not.
Turns out, it was a bad/bent wheel. Got my new wheel from Gary, put it on w/ the stock axle and hub and no wobbles....put the original wheel on again, and wobble returned.
FedEx showed up this afternoon w/ the new axle (Dominator 2) and we got it installed this evening. Let him ride for about an hour or so (hot as hell here today....100 degrees).
Pro wheels (and most likely snow hogs) will be next week. :D
