Questions on tires

Im planning on buying a set of new front tires and was wondering what the three numbers mean. I know the stock tires are 22 x 7-10 radial. Im looking at a pair that is 22 x 6-10. I do pretty much all trail riding. Will changing the 7 to a six really matter. or should i look for a 7? Whats your opinion on what tire i should get?

22 is the height 7 is tire or rim width and 10 is rim size or the hole in the center size
depending on your rim size a 6 tire will just be alittle skinnier i think most front rims are 5 or 5.5 anyway

Stock front tires on an ltz or kfx are 21x7-10

front tire size doesn't really matter like it does the back. to small in the rear will make you drag and beat the rear end. i would stick with the 7, but as far as 21 or 22 its up to you. if you get to big of a front tire i think it looks funny. my choice is 21 for trails.
