Do you have to use new caliper bolts when replacing the rear brake pads?

i dont know what you mean by caliper bolts but you dont have to replace anything other then the brake pad so your answer is no.

if you are refering to the sliders....no, you don't have to replace. Just clean them up and lubricate well....unless they are to far gone, then yes, replace them

I meant the sliders. The service manual made a point to mention replacing these with new pieces. I couldn't figure out why this would be necessary unless they were worn out. Thanks for the info!
