i have a prob. the vin number on the frame is no longer there what do i do

buy a frame off ebay with a title and switch everything over to the new frame

You bought it used, right? Did you get a title and keys with the quad? Are you sure it isn't stolen? The VIN should be on the frame right where the front bumper upper attach points are.

the vin is up front by the bumber byw , just to make sure ure lookin in the rite place lol , looks like ure 400ex runnin EXTRA hot lol

i kno theres one on the bumper lol but i was told theres more then one vin # on a bike.

haha i think the question is how much did you pay for hte bike lol. was the frame repainted? im pretty sure it was just a sticker and i blew that ***** off when i sandblasted my frame.

Did you get keys (2)? Is the VIN sanded off near the bumper?

How much did you pay for it? Something doesn't add up if you ask me.

have to be carefull when buying used stuff. Before I bought my 400ex I went and wrote down the VIN #, ran it through witht he state or w/e, I tracked down the title and it was clean and legit. I see people buy stolen ATV's or dirtbikes then they are S.O.L. unless they just ride around their house.

Seller should of had a title for the quad. Did you ask? What's the history of the quad?

i was told i can take it to a cop and have it looked over and they can give me papers so i can take to the dmv and get a title

You should have had the seller do that before you bought it. You might take it to the cops now and get arrested. Sounds and feel stolen to me. I hope for your sake that it isn't. You had to be a little suspicious when you bought it right?

You know the seller? Can you track him down?

yes i was . but i was jus happy to get the damn thing lol i kno a couple cops so ill be fine
