wel first of all, its pretty much a b*tch to start, and when i do i cant keep it running without giving it the gas constantly. when I hurry and shift it in gear, it BARELY takes off and I have to hold the throttle down all the way and it doesnt even rev that high. when i fnally get going i have to keep it pinned not to die out, then it still just slooowwwwlllyy climbs in rpm's. It also backfires. I did accidentally put a whole can of seafoam to 1 1/2 gal. of gas (16oz. of seaofoam), but i drained it after it ran a little while and put new gas. please help, im going crazy!

btw- it's a 95 zx9r 900 (ninja)

thanksj, neil

Have you change the plugs?
Clean the carbs?
Is it all stock?
Stock jetting?
Choke stuck on?

im changing the plugs tomorrow, and I was hoping to clean out the carbs with the seafoam, but yeah. Its all stock except for the full muzzy exhaust. and about taking it to the dealer, I paid 800 for the bike because it had no title and sat for 2 years, im trying to spend as least on it as possible. can it be bad plugs that are causing my problems? i hope thats what it is
