removing header

Got everything off except header looks like that oil tank needs to come off. any easier ways to get it off. I want to do the header mod and hopefully find some paint that will actually stick, any suggestions would be great, by the way 04 400

dude its like 3 bolts it dont get any easier than that.

You dont need to take the oil tank off to get the header off, i've done it twice, take the silencer off then the header flange bolts and then you push the header back till you can clear the plastic then you give it a half turn and it should kinda wiggle out. Kinda hard to explain sorry.
