i am getting a new exhaust for my 08 450r. i have no idea what to get because there are so many on the market. i want something that will really increase the power of the motor.

I'm in the market for an exhaust too. Thinking HMF cause I know they're good. I'm not goin to do any motor work to it, just sprockets, UNI filter, exhaust, then rejet. Is there any need to do a full exhaust if i'm not making any motor mods? And will the sparks, dasa, rossier, make signifigant difference over the HMF?

yes the hmf exhuast is good but the sparks, dasa, or rossier will make a big difference over the hmf

I dont like a high pitched exhausts. I like a deep, raspy, throaty sound, like a flowmaster or magnaflow on a truck. Does any one of them sound deeper than another?

Why don't you mount just the stock pipe with HRC kit?

I usually see people asking for the better exhaust and then they run stock way.

I'm not going to do a big engine work so i know that i don't need the better exhaust, i can save that money in order to mount other things i will need more.

Not about you, Kazza, i talk in general.

also, do they make a slip-on? or is it the full system that gives you the power? I was told that it was pointless to use a full exhaust system unless you were doin motor mods.
