Im pretty sure your supposed to keep things lubricated on the 400, but besides the chain, what other stuff needs to be sprayed with lubricants?? And which to use??

You should do this once a year. You need to grease the swing arm and linkage. Remove all the linkage bolts first. The one on the swing arm, on the frame, on the shock, and where the two arms meet. Make sure you don't mix up what goes where and all the nuts are on the left. Then remove the swing arm pivot bolt. You should remove the axle now to make things easier. Or you can remove the chain and unbolt the brake caliper. Now all the parts have needle bearing where the bolts went. All you have to do to grease them is slide out the sleeve in the bearing. If your bearings are dry then a bunch of needles will fall out don't worry. coat everything inside the bearing with grease and put the needles back in their slots. Also make sure you clean everything real good. Also grease the seals so it doesn't squeak. Do this to all the bearings. If you bearings are missing needles or are worn out you need to replace them. Then put everything back together.

Could someone post pictures of the above-mentioned directions. I'm new to the whole quad scene and really not sure exactly how everything comes apart. Thanks, Jason.
