For anyone that ever liked anything about an XR400 check this outt

Its the Aloop plastic/tank kit for the XR 400.
It comes with a narrower/lower tank that makes the XR super comfortable and plastics too.. Instead of having that massive tank that makes you feel like your sitting on top of a keg (of root beer of course).

any graphics from 97-99 will fit thier shrouds too!

i wanna convert an XR to this sooo bad..
Along with a CR 500 Front end conversion. (that was done to the bike shown also)

im seriously debating not getting a brand new bike

getting one of these.

Putting that plastic/tank kit on it.

Doing the CR 500 front end conversion and setting it up for my weight.

An also putting the 400EX sidsecover/electric start on it.

Performance mods liek mayb a 450r Carb?
416 w/ stg 1 hotcam CRF timing chain
sparks advance timing key
Big gun exhaust
Possibly rigging up dual oil coolers

I think it would have the potential to be a bad *** trail bike / possible harescramble bike

If i wanted to i could make it street legal and have a MEAN dualsport bike :)

Im al about being different than everone else. Thats why i would run a scramble with his bike. So dont bother telling me its not for scramblin blah blah blah IDC. lol

What do you guys think about this setup? I think i might ask about it in the 400ex section ( its the same motor)

id rather get a 250f or 450 bike.. more power, quicker power, funner IMO

unless you like to lug it in the woods

dude i fell in love with it about a year ago. and i have a job interview at hanes tuesday so if i get that job this project will be underway...

Are they as reliable as a XR400? Hell No , dont even bother arguing that

A stock XR beat a 426 EX i heard in here somewhere. STOCK

Light engine mods and these beasts wil cook.

It donest need to be "lugged" in the woods.
The tank sitting up in the air makes these things hard to ride.

Ime guessing riding the XR 400 with the aloop kit is going ti be lkike riding my old School Cr125 with about 40 lbs strapped onto the engine...

I never had a problem keeping up with the newer bikes when i was on my 1985 CR..sso getitng used to the XR i dont think will be tough


It may not fit you. But its perfect for me. its differnt , its gunna haul, and best of all its a rock solid honda :)
