Im about to buy a 110 but when you kick i over, it will kick over fine, has compression and will start, then every so often ( like 1 out of 4) kicks it feels like it has absolutely no compression, i know thats not right and i have to see what i have to do beforei buy it.

I think it could be one of these things (tell me if im wayyy off)

1. Valve gets stuck
2. Rings are shot(unlikely because then it would never have comp
3, the kick starter gear/spring is no good, probably the easiet so i could just take the side case off and replace the parts...correct?

thanks for the help

Like the kicker just slips through with no resistance every now and again? I have read about this on 110s and it's a common problem and from what I understand it's somehow linked to a worn clutch.

yeah exactly, if it were the clutch id be pretty pumped, easy fix

Yeah I worked on a KLX with similar problems a while ago, put new plates in and it pretty much cured it....I know you know of pitbike websites and I know you will find what you need there because this is common with those things.

another thing to watch out for on the kawis (if thats what it is) is there is a bracket on the internals (can't remember what it does) that tends to brack and wreak havoc on the trannies. its an easy fix if you catch it right when it happens so be sure to check into that

Or.... it did the typical kawi 110 thing and the pegs ripped out of the cases, and someone had to replace the cases, and they didn't re-assemble it correctly.

I've done two of these now, and they're pretty basic motors and the parts are relatively inexpensive. If it's a good deal I'd buy it anyways, they're pretty simple to fix.

id say its the kickstart mechanism or the clutch, on my friends awile back his did this and when he re-did his clutch it worked out fine.

so i see your gonna get it haha:p

The jets are different

I'll take pics in a few days its all apart right now hahah

i ordered

a new carb
clutch plates
Heavy duty clutch springs
white plastic
Sik110's brake lever
Two bros shifter
tusk gas cap
Two bros bars
Big nutz clamp
and some DVS grip dounuts:cool:

The swinger is cracked to hell too so im in the process of gettng a new one of those, after that will come a tall seat, some graphics, works rear shock, stiffer front springs, damping rods, new piston/rings, weld a cradleframe mount on it and get big pegs/mount and she'll be ready to beat the hell out of! hahah
