Are the 86's different than the 87-89's????

yes, very slightly, but enough so the mounts don't line up

I believe the part number is the same for all three years???

I was wrong, I thought they were different. 86/87 are the same part number and 88/89 is too. Even though 87-89 mounts interchange, as per esr's billit mounts.
