I have a completely stock yfz450 and am looking to get into racing. What are the requirements for a fourwheeler in order to race? What must be done to an atv before you can race it?

The only requirement is a tether killswitch, but for MX I'd strongly suggest at least a set of nerf bars.

you dont have to take like a riding course or anything do you?

You will also need an AMA/ATVA card and a I believe for MX a district card-both of which you should be able to purchase at the track.

some tracks ull need an atva card...but usally local tracks u dont have to have one. i dont have one...
