Hello everyone, i figured its time to introduce myself considering that i only have one post and have been on here for a couple months reading.

My name is David and i live in O'Fallon MO and i am the proud owner of a 2007 TRX400ex and love it. Its my first ATV and ive only had it for a couple months but its fun to ride.

and now on to my question...me and my friend are heading up to HLR next weekend and after calling and talking to them they let me slide for that pratice (or me just riding) with no nerf bars on.

Well even though i dont have enough money now i will here at the end of this week and was wondering what nerf bars i should get.

i know there are many different styles and such but i do know i want ones with the built in heel guard in back and price inset an option because i was looking into the pro armor black polish ones.

O and im sorry i forgot to mention i have a black 07 with red shocks on it (if that helps anyone)

all the help is appreciated guys, thanks

Welcome to the club! Pro Armor nerfs are a good choice.

I have Blackline AC Pro Peg Nerfs. They look nice and are very strong but, can be difficult to install.

If you use the search feature on the forum and type in "Nerf Bars" in the title section and search just in the 400EX forum, you'll get lots of pictures and info on a varity of nerfs.

Welcome!

I heard the TUSK nerfs are nice and probably the least expensive.

If you take you time and keep searching ebay, you'll eventually find what you are looking for. I just upgraded to the pro armors with the heel gaurds in plain aluminum for $180 new on ebay. I just put em on and they look sweet! Nice fit, easy install. Seem stronger than my old Cobras.

Those Pro Armors would look really nice on your ride. I've got IMS Rolls, which I love, but they don't have integrated heal guards. You have to get them separate. Those Armors are the best bang for the buck.....nerf bars, fat pegs, and heel guards for half the price of the IMS.

if your looking for cheaper ones you can get ones that you use your stock plastic guards and they wrap around them

heres some from RMATV http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDetail.do?navType=type&navTitle=ATV+Parts&webTypeId=99&webCatId=24&prodFamilyId=3013#vehicleSelect
