Its not listed on their web site, you have to call about. I talked to Tom this afternoon and the exhausts were being dropped off this afternoon from the chrome shop. I have been waiting for this pipe for a month now. Mine ships out in the morning. This trx9 is an in between the trx5 and trx11. Tom said that the power hits alot harder than the trx5 and 11. Its not as fat like trx11, where the trx5 starts to get smaller the trx9 stays big, thats the way Tom explained it to me. About a month ago I was going to order the trx11 when Tom informed me about the trx9 and said it was worth waiting for.

Keep us posted on how they do once you get them installed. I was going to switch from an LRD to a TRX5, but I'd like to see how the new pipes go before I order one.

As far i'm concerned you can't go wrong buying anything from ESR. I am not an employee or sponsored by ESR but I have bought a few of their pipes and they are second to nobody.
I also ride quad only at Glamis so I needed that mid to top end pipe and the fact that I have a mid to top end porting. What made me buy the TRX 9 was the fact that ESR told me that it hit the power band harder that the TRX 5.

I have it on a 350 PV and I like it. It hits hard and pulls like hell. The LRD pipe is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and make your arms sore. LOL.

you sure its not the 350 pv that pulls like hell??? :macho

Why switch pipes? Are the ESR's better? I'm stuck with a FMF SST right now, (which is not a bad pipe at all) but I what to try something different eventually.

The 350 definately pulls. I love it.

I meant the LRD pipe comes on really hard. I was going to switch pipes to try and mellow out the "hit" of the LRD pipe.

It sounds like both the TRX5 and TRX9 are fairly close in their effective RPM range, with the TRX9 just a tad more dedicated to higher revs.

I would REALLY like to see a dyno comparison of the two pipes.

i faintly remember hearing about another pipe from esr to replace the trx 6, mx type power. i think it was the trx7 which was claimed to be better than the famous and discontinued sparks mx pipe.

just thought i'd throw that in there for the low end guys.:D

Lets not forget the most important part about a pipe.

A pipes part in the whole skeem of things is to compliment the porting in a cylinder so know that first before you just throw a pipe on a bike.

Sounds like the TRX9 going to be good for upper midrange port.

I think you are absolutely correct, it is the perfect pipe for your setup!

Now can I buy your eliminator?

I dropped by their shop last week curious about this pipe and was told that for those who are currently running their trx5 (like me), a loss in bottom end is noticeable.

Ok, but is there an increase in mid to top over a 5?

yes, there should be a noticeable increase from mid to top. the way it was explained to me precisely is that it will "pull like a banshee when it hits the powerband" to which I was told that if you are running a 330 and up big bore cylinder, ya need to hold the f*ck on:D

I already need to hold the f*ck on with my alcohol 310 and trx5 LOL...
