BARNETTE SUCKS *** !! Go With the stock plates and Barnette springs if you have the extra money. Or try EBC or Moose. I hate my Barnett!! It creeps in gear with clutch pulled in, and you can not get it in neutral while the engine is running!! I'm going back to factory plates and keep the HD springs! By the way, I'm only like 10 mins. from Louisburg, right outside of Bunn.

Barnett is complete crap. Never had slipping until I installed that garb. I'm now running stock with the Barnett springs and I still have occasional slippage.

Never had any problems with stock fibers and springs.

Any kevlar clutch plates are BAD NEWS!! The kevlar rubs off, and completely contaminates your oil. Stick with stockers. They are cheap and from my experiances, VERY durable. Afterall i did get 2 full race seasons and havent had to touch the plates at all!

I installed the Barnett K-series when I did my 440. It started to slip in about a week. :( I went back to the stock set up and did not have a problem. When I did my 463 this fall I went with a FDO set up. 250r fibers, 300ex steels, heavy duty springs and the pressure plate machined to make it a 8 disk system. I am real happy with it. :D
