My 400ex mods

Hey I have a honda 400ex 2002. Any who these are my mods and I have a couple questions going with thoses.

My mods:
-yosh pipe full syste
-holes in air box
-k&n air filter w/ pre charger
-450r carb

I am planning on doing this:
-wisco light weight 11:1 piston
-stg 2 hot cam
-new cdi. Dyno or msd

Now I was wondering if I g2 run high test gas for the 11:1 piston
Then I was wondering if I need heavy duty head studs. (Stock boar like still 400cc's)

And in a long long long time I want 2 get a p&p job done.

Finally!!! I want 2 know how lightened fly wheels are. Im wondering if there worth it and where can u get them and if I am to do it how light should it be, and what type of riding I will have 2 do 2 makeit worth it.. lol

how much of a difference of the 450 carb over the stocker? and did it bolt right up, any jetting? and where did you put your holes in the air box?

Ok first of all by air box I mean air box lid sry :-s And there is like 50 holes or so 1/2 a cm so pretty much 1/2 the air box lid is open.

Then there is enough of a diff with the carb there is 3-4 hp gain just by switching the carb (proven on a dyno) and its much more zipyer or responsive. For that I had 2 do a couple things:
-trimming the inside of the intake so the larger carb will fit
-The intake will need to be pulled foreward about a 1/2 inch
-The tps wires need to be cut off the carb
-Hotstart needs to be blocked off
All of that is pretty ez.. So no it did not bolt right up.

And for the jetting u g2 change that. I dont remember what jet im running my friend tuned it up for me so..

Hey one last thing I forgot 2 mention. If your going 2 up ur carb. Make sure its 2006+ 450r... since 06+ is frc much better. just make sure its frc. im upgrading 2 frc so.. :D gl

Thanks for the help. im gonna start lookin for a carb. What if i was to get the 440 big bore kit as far as it bolting up, any idea

Once more np :D. Now as far as the carb just bolting up.. U g2 make a adapter. Or you can do it with out an adapter just its a REALY REALY tight fit! lol. I dont realy know how the bb will affect it.. And I forgot 2 say u need 2 also get a 450r throttle cable for that since it wont work with stock cable :-s. But u can get that for 15$ at any honda dealer. gl

Nah its not boring lol Makes me feel spetial :D. Dont worry I did the same thing.. lol And its siriously not boring at all. gl Here is a good plan of the adapter but thats for the 42mm one.. Not the 06+ frc. So if u dont get the frc u can use this lol. Ur going 2 have 2 get some one 2 make it thought.

Eww I just got some info about the fcr carbs. They wont give any extra hp then the 42 mm. Unless you boar it out 2 the same sise as the 42mm. They just have way more responce.
