swingarm pinch bolts stripped...helicoil?

I was attempting to tighten my chain and when I loosened the pinch bolts, the threads came out with them. So, should I through bolt them with a nut on the underside or should I put a helicoil in? Also, should the bolts be stainless or a certain grade?

Heli coils work great. I prefer stainless, but a grade 5 should be enough.
