If I just ran my header and no muffler in glamis or pismo? if so what kind of jettin would i run?

that imo would be one of the stupiest things to do. it wont make more horsepower, it will only make your ears bleed. If I was you I would just keep the silencer on.

just wondering, but if running straight headers on a car of any sort puts out more power than running it with a muffler, then why would a quad be any different? im not sure of this, and i would really like to know, just for future refrence!

these engines require a certain amount of backpressure on the valves without that back pressure they will not run right.

im not sure about glamis or pismo but i do know that here at st anthony you HAVE to have a spark arrestor... according to the sign.

you need backpressure to allow the engine to scavenge air correctly. the length of header and bends, and collector all make some what of back pressure. actually some drag cars will have faster times running fullpipes to the rear with no muffler then running open cut outs...

keep you muffler on...

nah last thanksgiving i was running my fmf power core with the core yanked out, that was glamis and buttercup.

yea mufflers help some cars even. some of the monster trucks on the Monster jam circuit have mufflers on their trucks and theyve got liek 1400 horse in some cases

isnt back pressure a good thing? but i must say if u want something like that get a shorty pipe?
