very cool story!

when i was a kid, a circuit court judge lived across the street. he had purchased a ton of land and while I was exploring one day, i found a few old houses. I informed him of it and he stated he did not even know they were on his land.

his oldest son, also a judge, got to searching the houses and found a bag of gold coins hidden in a wall! i dont know what they were worth but i do know it was very valuable. strange how stuff like that works

I'd MUCH MUCH rather find that than win any lottery.. I'd do anything to just be there when that barn was first opened, even if the cars weren't mine.

This story is complete BS. It's been in circulation for a couple years. It is a collectors barn, who still owns the barn. He opened it up to get a mini out that he sold. He welded it shut to keep the cars safe and to not take them out for 10 years or something. No one "found" this barn.

Real photographs; inaccurate description. (http://www.snopes.com/photos/automobiles/barnfind.asp)

That whole story just didn't make sense. From the picture of the outside of the barn....you had to know something was inside of it valuable, or atleast once was no dumbass realestate agent would ignore it. That isn't a barn...thats a warehouse.

yea, itd be easier to believe if there was like an old 1 car garage type thing about to collapse, and the guy finds one nice 70s muscle car.

back to fantasizing:
imagine if it had less then 5 original miles on it.

All those cars packed that tight. All it would take is one shorted battery cable to spark on some residual fuel in the engine bay......and you can kiss it all goodbye.

So what's the monthly insurance payment cost on a $35,000,000 car collection?

What's the point of aquiring a collection if you don't take care of it. A little zaino goes a long way.

Now, to fantasize, imagine inside was a fleet of old 250r's, trikes, dirtbikes, quadzillas.

I would still rather have that fleet of cars over quads and bikes.
