Ok, this is my 2nd pair of grips that im putting on, my first went ok. Now that I have cut off my old grips, there is glue stuck to the handlebar, its stuck pretty darn good, only way to get it off is to cut it off with razor which would take a loonnng time! So my question is, can I just glue my new grips on top of the old glue (which the old glue is smooth btw, not rough)??? Think that would be ok, or do I HAVE to get all the old glue off?? If so, is there an easier way? Or any other tips when putting on grips??

Thanks!

Wanna know a really fun and easy way to do grips? They stay on without glue too.

Cut slits in the sides. Take an air hose and stick it in the slit. Hold the hole closed on the other side of the bars, pull the air nozzle, the grip expands and slides right on. There ya go! Then do the same for the other side, but hold the grip because while putting the second grip on it will try to puch the other one off.

So easy and i use this method constantly.
