Has anyone had these go bad. I replaced mine and a month the replacement went bad. The race holding the one way cogs in place cracks. I seam to get a lot of kick back when starting but when started runs great. I have a hot cam and new valves plus piston and rings just seams compression is high. I checked timing and seams like its off one tooth so I move it one tooth and then seams to be off the other way all the arrows aren't lined up right. It's a 98 warrior and the flywheel is off 2001 would the timing mark be off? I'm about to be a pull start and get rid of the dam starter.

I replaced mine a few years ago and haven't had any problems since.
