just got a 96 300ex has aftermarket tires full pipe k a n jetted its nice for its age.. i guess iam going to ride red fron now on lol

runns dam good the clutch is acting funny so the guy orderd all new clutch for it and axle bearings too should have free parts next week.. is it easy to do a clutch on a 300? ive done it on a lt230 it was real easy pics to come:D

free parts are always good

replacing a 300ex clutch is simple, but you will also need a new gasket for the side case, and the nut the holds the basket on the shaft,, might want to get those ordered cuse the other guy probably didnt think about it.

ic the clutch is vary dry u put it in gear with clutch pulled in it takes off and is vary hard to push the quad in gear with clutch pulled in to the clutch is hanging up...

to me that sounds like a clutch cable adjustment issue, might want to play with that a little bit

Probably just the cable.. but if it's not it would just be some warped steels in the clutch. Fairly cheap and easy fix.

ic my last 300 i had did the same thing it had sit for a long time dealer had to take it all a part and work on the clutch .but i think i will just ride it for a bit and see who she works..
