05 crf450 hybrid oil ?

Hi just purchased a 05 crf450 with about 4 grand in engine work, 12:5:1 comp. I was just wondering what oil I should run, honda, amsoil, etc. Thanks!

In my yz426,That shared the engine oil w/the trans oil.

I used Motul 300v.

I use it now in both the 450r`s.

Keep it changed!

I have a Baldwin built crf and have had real good luck with Amsoil, Premium 40 weight.

I'm changing my oil after every ride more than 30 minutes. It would be nice to send my engine away, Baldwin is pretty good for hybrids? If I would put anymore money into this quad it would be more money into already insane engine. The only thing is, I really don't wanna buy 112 octane vp. I can get 110 Torco from my local BP. Which is just equally good. The guy at East coast atv said to run 112. I don't see a point in running it because the piston is only 12:5:1. What could be the reason? I can't find a single one why only because of full performance. The engine is already going to be insane compared to my 400....

CRF does not use a oil tank...

There are 2 oil compartments, one for the crank one for the transmission...
