I had a little time last night to wrench on the 90, and Ryan was eager to get it out and see if it worked

Its pretty sticky here today, mid 90's and high humidity so I wasnt to excited about tromping around teh track to get alot of pics:p

He still has not really gotten back in teh groove since his wreck a few years ago, but he says he still wants to race

Right after this pic I saw that I had indeed missed narrowing up the rear end so back to the shop for a slightadjustment

Cody was running behind him trying to push him, unfortunatley Ryan will do his own thing and just flip Cody the bird if he yells to much:huh

Oh well, just a lazy hot and humid afternoon here.

wait, you still have the raptor?? I thought you sold that thing?

Im assuming that you fixed the frame, then put it back to stock for cody as a trail/practice bike?

no, we had 2 raptors to start the season off with, cody destroyed the race quad and this one was for parts/spare. when i saw how much damage he was putting on the yammy, i knew better then to rebuild the back up quad only to have him destroy it.

so his 300ex is sitting here awaiting shocks and arms, the stock raptor will serve as ryans quad and life rolls on:p

Full body armor but no gloves?

I have been telling my wife(pregnant w/ our first) that our kids will be riding quads and dirt bikes by the time they are 5. I'm going to send her the pics to show her that other kids are riding at an early age too.

both kids ride without gloves to toughen their hands. codys hands are like leather and hasnt seen a blister in forever. ryan is just following suit

Just dont push it guys. You wont find a bigger supporter of youth riding, however even the smallest machine is way to heavy for the smallest of children. One slight roll over at even slow speed can mean death. As much as you want your child out there, just use good common sense and judgement. It is much safer to start them on a mini bike then atv.

I started on a Honda 70 at age 7. I used to have my big brother kick start it for me and hold the bike up because I could barely touch the ground with my tippy toes.
