How to get AMA Card???

I was wanting to get into beginner racing,but the track we have where I live makes you get a AMA card.I was needing to know how to get my card and how much will it cost me?I went to the web site but they did not have any links on there that is any help.Just let me know guys!!;)

Call 1-800-JOIN-AMA and then you should be able to figure it out from there. It will cost around 40 bucks for a one year pass and it expires the month you receive it. Note it will take a while to receive...this year mine took about a month.:ermm:
