Help Please.......

Ok where to start i have been out riding for the laast 2days and my bike has been fine tell about mid day when i was riding along gassed it and she just shut off..... it would not start back up waited 5mins she started back up rode 10-15 min same thing happened... any ideas what this could be? got towed back home looked over everything and she started back up. no clue whats going on with it.

also noticed the oil is low started it up and shes smoking like a champ..... it has a 440 kit in it not sure of what else i bought it this way.... HELP ME PLEASE ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT

I few things came to mind.

1. Defective fuel petcock
2. Clogged or restricted fuel line
3. Defective fuel cap/vent valve
4. Incorrect or malfunctioning carb float
5. Bad coil

possibly a plugged vent line on the fuel tank.

as for the smoke,... how's it feel when it is running?
any strange sounds, vibrations, etc???

tore it all down.. blown head gasket.... think that was causing the smoke and power loss???????????

Does it have HD studs?

I DONT KNOW HOW DO YOU TELL? where can you get these hd studs if it doesent have them? and how hard are they to put in?

GT Thunder has them for 60.00 bucks. What is the diameter of the head studs?

They measure 1/4 inch. Is this stock?

NO more smoke but shes still cutting out and its pissing me offf ran for about 2 hours and she bogged down on me and nothing again waited 10-15 mins she started back up rode alittle and she died again. i dont know whats wrong any help would be great she just didient eeven wanted to start by the end of the day....

I have no clue bought the bike in jan with all the work already done. Ran fine till the last 2 times out where do I start? I am sick of getting towed around when she cuts out....
