got it put on last night and then my son wanted to ride so i had to stop work on it but i did get it started and i will fine tune it today. i dont know how many of you have this or have seen one but if a carb can be "beautiful" this one is. i will update on how much better it does. i have a 440ex with a stage 2 hotcam, ful curtis sparks exhaust port and polish blah blah blah. i was using a stock carb. so this should wake it up a bit.

Why did you decide to spend all the money on the edelbrock? Instead of the FCR, or a 450r carb?

lol what kind you want?

i like the carb so far but i am used to actual jets. but this carb doesnt play like that. it will run like a scalded ape when i get it dialed in.

I used to have an Eichner and the only thing I really liked about it was how easy it was to work on. The only draw backs I had were getting the jets can be difficult and I never got it to run quite right but then again I wasn't a 440. I do love the look of them though with the signature and everything it's pretty cool. Good luck!

If it is the Eichner it will be a PITA to get it dialed in. I tried so many differen't settings and I could never get it dialed on right. That was before I was 416 but if you really have some patience and some time it would probably be a good power gain but it is really hard because no one has one that I know of so I didn't really know where to start. I think you would be better off selling his and getting an FCR because so many know how to tune those for the ex.
