Great deal on KTM

I bought this 2000 KTM 250EXC off of craigslist for $680.It had 3 bad transmission gears.I bought a good bottom end for $200 and just bought new plastic for it today,should be in by next week.What do you think,good deal or not

I am going to take it out and ride for a day and if I don't like it I will sell it and buy a wr450.The guy I bought it off of had owned it since '01,the original buyer found out it was too much bike for him and traded it in on a polaris 4x4.When I bought it the entire motor was in boxes,the KTM dealer tore it apart and diagnosed the problem with the gears(rounded dogs) and the owner had no idea how to put it together,thus the reason for the cheap price
