whats up with the 6 and 12 hours of america for 2008

anyone have any info on the series.
i have yet to see a single thing on it.
the websites no longer work are they not doing it this year? any info would be much appreciated

who knows, its a great race and i'm sure the whole series is fun, but they seem way too unorganized to do much good with it for very long

I was talking to Mike Pellan this spring at the first Rumble on The Ridge in Ohio about it.

As the event organizer, Pellan was seriously considering not putting the races on this year. He said he was simply getting burned out and wanted to take this year off. But he was going back and forth as to whether he would do it or not.

He seemed real bummed about the thought of not putting the races on, but you could tell he just wanted to have some of this summer to himself for family and ride time.

Stay tuned, who knows.

I will be heading out for this event, and I expect to see the racers from the midwest out in full force if youve got the guts:devil:

I will also be putting up a hammock as I wont be trying to endurance anything but a good time...lol

They updated the site today. They also added a Pro Utility class to the class lineup.
