660 Modified Raptor?? Any Good?

I found a very clean 660 raptor. Its a 686 now with air filter mods,exhaust, wide axle,2 plus 1 lone star a-arms and 1 1/4 lone star swinger, tsc fully adj shocks all around, port and polish,kibble white vales etc etc Do you guys think it should run or outrun the new stock 700 and run with or away from the 450"s I ask because some said the 660's were kinda slouches stock. And didn't handle that great. but with these mods i thought it should be a very good running and handling machine??????

the 686s that i am familiar with will definately out run the new 700s... and the 450s...

The raptor 700 is actually a 686, same with the kawi , and new honda 700xx. I think it should defiantly take the 700's and 450's. I ride my friends stock 660 all the time and the torque is awesome. All u have to do is give a little gas and the front end is in the air. So i can only imagine that it will be a rocket.

its not major hp youll see.. its the torque that'll get ya :)

i loved my rappy. everyone says theyre topheavy. i ran mine in harescrambles for a while with a stock front end and Works shocks and it was fine. then i upgraded.

It might beat a stock 700r by maybe a quad length. It won't touch a built 700r. :cool:

I can run with a stock 700 on my 660... Im not sayin that i can beat one but i give em a run and dont really have that much done to it. The 700 doesnt pull away till i hit 5th, then im pretty much toast:D

my raptor 660 with a stock bore high comp piston jets, valves ported polished an full fmf pipe .. will out run the 700 raptor.
My buddie down the road has one and its got a jet kit and full hmf pipe an some efi unit on it an it out runs it. :cool:
