Take the throttle screw all the way out and start jetting

Are you running a uni filter or is it stock. IF you can put on a uni filter and outerware if not stock is ok. TAke out your plug check the color if its black it is to rich you need to go down jet size till it s brown to tan .if its tan to brown thats perfect you need not change it .if its white you need to go up a jet size till its brown . You need to start this with a new plug.

He has the OKO but I wanted to see if jetting took care of it before you tell him about what I think you are. Some people I talked to wished they hadn't done that so I didn't mention it yet.

You are good to go Ed on rejetting. If you plug color is good then give me an email.

The OKO mod is not something I would recomend Steve.

Teh OKO 21mm Jetting in FL at sea level and 90 degree weather

MJ was 90-95
Needle- Can't remember
Pilot (38 to 40).

Air Screw (about 1/2 turn out)

I know it sounds strange, but that is what worked for us

I am actually finding the needle position is slightly different between bikes. On my 90's some are good in the mid position and I have had to raise and lower the clip on different ones. It must be those tight manufacturing tolerances ;>)
