today my friend aaron came over to my house. i attached a sled to my 250 and hauled him around the house. i tried not to let off so he wouldn'd slip under my axle and get chewed up by the tires:rolleyes:. we didn't get good pictures though.

we shoveled my porch off and filled up 2 garbage things with snow. we made a jump. not real high. only about a foot maybe less. the lip was set up high so we bumped up. i got my friend on my bros 90 and said jump it. he did pretty well for the first time. here are some pictures. my digital camera take the pictures late and he didn't get any good ones of me.

Cool. Post some pics of the jump. I remember when i used to get towed around the yard on a sled by my dads Honda 300 4x4.

Great times.

the best thing for snow is a pickup and a car hood

not bad distance for a little jump and a little bike. one thing though you might wanna make the rope alittle longer. around here when it snows we use one of those plastic disks and a ski rope so if the person want s to stop(usually heading towards something) then they can just let go. my friend let go once and couldnt stop and went right into the pole of a stop sign. hahaha

man u need to get a longer rope:huh lol. yeah the best days to have a quad is when theres a foot of snow on the ground, and u have a rope and a sled! U very rarely have to worry about anything breaking on the quad, and if u wreck it USUALLY doesnt hurt as bad. Snow days are the best days a kid could have! I miss em already and im only 18:(

i think he did pretty good. he said that he rode a 300EX before. he just putted around on it. here's another picture of him.

there's only like an inch out there but we made the best of it. i can't wait until we get more:blah!

you should use like some bunjy (spelling?) cords, theyre pretty strong, and if u needed to slow down just tell him to hold on to the grab bar.

bungy might work. i lost it. i was going to use it. i told him if he gets too close, push off the grab bar or put his feet on the driveshaft.

I have been doing that stuff for a long time! When I get snow this year its gonna be the best! I just need some new sleds, every year me and some of my friends go through a lot of them. About a month ago me and my friend were pulling a sled right next to a pond so the sled would go in and skim across the top. It was awsome (but very cold).

we all ready have like a foot of snow. i might take out my quad this weekend in all of this powder:D i want to get some skis and tracks for my atv.

yeah those skis and tracks are cool. but i heard they were very expensive. the powder snow is ok but i love the wet snow. you can pack it down good and it roosts better. the powder stuff justs sort of goes into the air and just floats around. the wet stuff is hard and if you roost someone it doesn't float in the air:devil, they are going to get a mouthful. i roosted my neighbor with powder and it just went down his shirt and he got cold.

the middle one is the diferential
the drive shaft hooks up to it.

i like powder alot beter than heavy because try going through a wooot of wet heavy snow and u will get stuck. powder u just sink to the bottom and keep going no prob mate the tracks are cheaper if you buy them in canada

i wasn't sure of the right term for it. there's hundreds of different parts and i just got is a couple months ago and i'm still learning new stuff about it. what i meant was the diferential(the middle one).
