Ive got a 400ex stage 1 hotcam for sale. It is used but in good condition and low hours. I bought a stage 2 instead. Would like $90 shipped. Paypal only. Need to sell asap for other parts to finish my rebuild! thanks

may sell the stage 2 instead? i want to make the most bottom end possible. it all depends tomorrow when i decide what bore im going to ride for the season

I have a fresh build on my 2003 400ex...with a EBC dirt racer clutch kit, GT Thunder HD head studs, Hotcams stage 2, JE 10.8:1 piston kit, and a FMF Powerbomb header and Powercore 4 pipe. I mostly ride woods and hill climbs. I don't have it completly broke in yet, but have ridden it hard and I believe I should have went with the stage 1 cam, because I don't have any low end like a stock 400 does, I'm getting ready to put a 14T front sprocket on to lower the gearing, a lot of ppl said it should help my low end loss out. So you could try that too. If your racing then you may want the stage 2, because the stage 1 is mostly for woods riding. The stage 1 is for low to mid rpm range and the stage 2 is for mid to high, so that should help with your decision as well.

decided im probably just going to keep the 85mm piston and stage 1 cam..probably pickup another cylinder and head and have an extra top end laying around for the track.

unless someone wants to make me a good deal

i will sell my new 85mm 10:1 wiseco and slightly used stage 1 cam for 160 shipped

Dont need a piston... im building a 426, what do you want for the stage 1 then?
