250x/300ex cdi swap

I have a 300ex TT/flat track bike that we just put a big bore/stroker 250x motor in. We used the 250 wiring harness, and everything was good. But in trying to find an aftermarket CDI box for it, nothing seems to be available. I tried to wire the 250 CDI harness like a 300ex, but that did not help with a 300ex box.

What are you guys that run a 250x CDI/harness doing for an aftermarket CDI?

i do believe a few places still do what is called the "black box mod" you send your stock cdi to a builder )i think FST and maybe curtis sparks can do it) and they will basically eliminate your rev-limiter

that may be your only and probably best option for your particular set-up

have the 250x one modified or run a 350x one and swap the 2 wire connector wires.
