I was just thinking of some ways to modify my airbox lid and I thought I would first ask what others have done.

Please list and add a picture of your mods to your lid or airbox.

I think it will be interesting to see what everyone has done.

Too late. I had some steam I had to blow off so I did this. From what I can tell the air will come right up and into it from below.

I will be doing more but this is the start

Jeff where did you get that or did you make it yourself. I was going to try and fabricate something just like that. Super Cool. Does it give you that throaty sound as if the cover was off?

I did the same thing as Trent. Just used a hole saw then siliconed Flow-Rite from startinglineproducts.com to the underside. I know they have various size sheets you can buy but I can't find it on their site, so give them a call.

Hey sheriff 525, I used a heavy duty metal screen from home depot and a glue gun. After 6 months it's still holding good, and my filter seems to be keeping pretty clean. Cost $5.00

Here is mine. Made a template and laser cut it out of stainless.

Do any of you guys have a problem with the seat pan getting chewed up by the bolts sticking up through the lid? I have an EHS kit that I havent put on yet but I realized that when I pulled the lid off and tried to ride it the damn seat kept coming loose so obviously it is supported to a point by the lid. I'm just trying to decide if it worth modifying or just it setting back up for the lid and leaving it alone.
