Head Gasket Mod??????

I remember awhile back reading that there is something you can do to the 06+ quads to up the compression. SOmething about taking a layer of it out or something??? is this correct? and has anyone done it? ill admit im a little leary of pulling a head gasket apart.

on the 06 up you just buy a crf gasket, which those are already 2 layers only.

on the 04-05 motors is where you can remove the middle layer for added compresion.

I thought a cometic head gasket did the same?

Yep, this is correct. Just buy the crf one.
