Im looking into buying a standard travel aftermarket front end. I want to know what the best sdt travel arms and suspension combination is for the cheapest price. Post pics and prices of std travel arms and suspension. Also give the link to the websites that they were purchased at. Your opinions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have ben trying to talk myself into aftermarket a-arms for 6 months but can't seem to find the need. I use stock re-spring / re-valves from the Quad City Quad Doctor www.qcquaddoctor.com that are very similar to what you would get from GT Thunder.

OMA Pro Rob Zimmerman uses stock 450R arms, so for now I will use the $600+ that a-arms would cost to get to and from the races...

SMC/Motowoz is a good, decently priced front end.

has anyone ever tried the PEP standard travels piggyback version for only 800 dollars? I knew pep was really good and for 800 dollars seems like a real good deal. if anyone has them post pics.

If you're planning on standard travel, I would look for a decent set of used arms right here on this site, and I would just get some revalves from either C&D racing, Derisi Racing, or GT Thunder, in that order.

I run C&D rebuilds with the hi-flow pistons and a GT Thunder rear MX link. I love this setup.

I've tried 2 different setups so far, started on on nickel plated burgards +2+1 then I went to lonestar +2.5+1 and love it. I bought my lonestars used off another member of this site. I then sent them to pappy to powdercoat them for me.They look brand new on there when I installed them. I run derisi's mx package and love it. I did notice when I get overly aggressive in the whoops I can still find my r's limit in the rear suspension. Not often but its there sometimes. I want to try changing just the rear to longtravel soon. I think that will fix me up right this time.

This first pic isnt' mine but its the same frontend I had this picture is of pappy's old R.
