there are pics of the quad at about page 100 of show off your 250r, it was his yellow race quad(has newer white plastics in pic), he had some stolen in 03 this was not one of those, are you looking for pics of the parts?

I think that was in 2001, one of the last years the GNCC stopped in Macon, Ga.

I was certain, though, that his '03 quads were 350cc powervalve motors. He had the 300 resleeves up until 02-ish? I want to say.....

he raced the 350 pv's in 02 in 03 I thought there was a rule that your cylinder had to be a production casting.

In the Pro Production class, but not in the Pro class.

Back then, there was Pro and Pro Production, as the GNCC's tried to figure out how to fit in the new four strokes while the 250R based quads were still dominant. They split the Pro class in 2001, I think, and the Pro Production class required the factory casting on the cylinder. I think it was '04 they finally settled on Pro and Pro Am, with both using production rules.

In '03, I recall Ballance started on 350 PV based R, jumped on his LRD aluminum framed Z400 for the latter part of the season until the Iron Man, where he brought the R back out.

go to the gncc racing sub topic on this forum, go to page 6, click on page 3 of the wisp gncc race, 2nd pic down shows he is running a production cylinder.

Man, you couldn't link me?

Definitely a stock cylinder on his.

I KNOW I've seen a powervalve on there, at some point.

Also, look three images down and you can see what looks like Santo Derisi, and that jug ain't stock.

Sorry I don't know how to post links. He had more than one bike, that guy clean250rforsale(I think that is his screen name)was trying to buy it and he said that he had the twin for my bike. So he had at least 2

I think he's always had two. Even when his stuff got jacked that one year, he was able to borrow two for the next couple of races, until he got two more.

Bill ran the LRD 300 PV not a 350. He also ran the resleeved 300cc stock jug and would switch motors\quads depending on the track or conditions.
