new valves. must replace guides or not?

well my intake valves snapped so im replacing everything. all new valves seals and what not. but my dad is convinced i have to buy all new valve guides even though they appear in great shape. is this true. new valves new guides? thanks

If the valve was bent or snapped you need a new guide. Because they are so cheap while your fixing the one you might as well do them all.

2 snapped. so i should do them 2. the exhaust valves are fine, im just doing them becuase i have the head off. so i dont need to do the other guides?
