View Full Version : water in cylinder?

I just put my top end on after getting it back from Duncan Raceing. they surfacedthe cylinder and gave me a new dome. and a stock head gasket but I am getting water comeing out of the head bolts and the plug looks wet and oily whats up with that.

is it a cometic head gasket? If so add another 5lbs and see what happens. There not always the best sealing gasket.

Three Bond brand # 1211 sealant.

Apply a good coat to a new Cometic head gasket, torque nuts down & let engine sit at least over night for the sealant to cure out before adding any coolant or starting the engine.
Curing time is the key to the sealant working like its suppost to.

Thanks I will try that lenard at DRI said I am way low on compression, highest I could get it was 165 with an L &K gauge, he would not give me a straight answer on how much I should have, any ideas on that
