nah 42 isn't to big. I have a stage 2 fmf jet kit. and at the very least the pilot is a 42. I wana say a 45 but I ran a 42 pilot? and 170 main with my stock 400 and it ran great and with my 440 11:1 its ran awsome

lol......dude....look at my sig. Depending on where you live, temp etc...it may be diff....but I live in Ohio, so nothing crazy, but all that is done to mine is EHS lid, Uni filter, And HMF full system. I am jetted at 175 main, and a 48 pilot, with the screw 3 1/2 out. This baby runns like a dream! Tons of power with no hesitations!

I would say that with stage 2 cam, you may want to atleast try a 182 or 180 main first, see how it acts, if it boggs on main circuit, drop it down. Don't be afraid to give that baby the fuel.....running rich for a little while till you get it all tuned in perfect....is WAY better than running too lean for a while till you get it tuned in right.....lol

You need bigger pilot and main. Like leasure said fatter is better in this case but be patient or you could have disasterous results. I'm ten minutes from NY border and my pilot is richer than yours and my 400 is only stage 1. ;)
