Parts needed for 06 Plastic on a 05?

I bought some 06 Plastic for my 05, and by the way it looks I need the gas tank shield,Hood,rear fender mounts. Is there anything else I'm missing??I dont want to cut up or zip tie anything if possible.

You need the gas tank heat shield and hood the fender brackets are fine

Is the heat shield the same other than the rubber mounts for the rear plastic?

I think there might be a slight different rise in the heat shield, but I'm not 100%. I may be able to check later tonight?

I found a 06 tank shield but its for the electric start model.Does anyone know if there is any difference between the kicker or electric start?

I want to do the same thing i have a 04 and would like to add 06 plastics. I already installed the 06 headlight and Quad tech hood. What else is needed to do this besides the front and rear plastics. Is the tank heat shield needed.

to answer your question yes the tank shield is needed.The way the rear plastic mounts is a little differant.The 04-05 have a flat piece that pushes into the rubber gromet, and the 06+ have a round piece.
