Check out this custom intake.
This is the result of alot of tinkering for the past week or so..

Instead of trying to heat and stretch the stock carb to airbox boot over a 39MM i used a new LT500R quadzilla boot, some YFZ billet brake line clamps, a chunk of raw aluminum square stock, a 4.5" aluminum tube, a clamp from a street sign, some t-bolt hose clamps"the best" and a oddball HUGE k&N filter.
The Quadzilla boot as you all know is bigger and a little smoother as far as its girlish curves and should increase the airflow dramatically.
I am also on my 3rd prototype for a quick release see through red lexan airbox for this as well (Danhung11 i havent forgot about yours) that you will be able to mount quickly when things get wet...plus its going to look trick as hell.
My build is behind schedule and i promise to post more pics when it get's closer.

I love the factory look + aftermarket work your doing on that bike. Youll soon realize that youll never want to take this bike into the sand after you do it the first time.

Youll spend 2-4 hours before you go, ride it all weekend, staying so clear of any water, then when you get home, youll spend another 3-5 days detailing it for the next ride.

Lets see more of the whole bike tho.....

Looks pretty sick, much nicer then a lot of no air box set ups that I've seen.

A box that will slip under and around this filter. It will have a screened top and a semi "quick release" and shouldnt be more than 3 small knobs that you can tighten by hand or a clip to frame nylon clamping system ( no zip ties here).
I will also be able to fab these in quite a few colors. I will post pics when its done
