Hi folks,
How do you know when you need new wheel bearings? I can pull my front wheels back and forth and get a little "clunking" sound. My 400ex is a '99. How long should the stockers last?
If I do in fact need to replace them, what's the best and easiest way to get them out? Which part do I need to grease before re-installation? I've heard horror stories about stuck wheel bearings before. I have a good set of tools but no bearing drivers. I also have a Helm manual on hand, but I figured I'd ask someone here who's actually done a bearing job.
