I bought a Pro com CDI of a member on the forum. I never asked him what year it was for (my fault). Its for a 99-03 and I have a 07' can I use or am I SOL? THanks,

I dont see any reason you cant use it, but im not 100% sure.

i dont think so, cuz the 05 and up CDI's are diff. cuz of reverse gear, so i doubt it.

but throw it on and see what happens, why not right?

No one has done this? There has to be someone on here hat has run one of these on a 05-07

Not sure. I would think that the worst case scenario would be that it doesn't start, but you never know. Probably the best idea would be to call the manufacturer.

Well put it in. Its alot smaller than the factory one. I cranked it over just fine started up. Haven't rode it just reved it a little. I can start in reverse now and there is no limiter in reverse. I will let you huys know how I make out tomorrow ahen I go riding.

I'd take the stock one with you when you go riding...how ****ty would it be to have it crap out in the middle of your ride..
