450R swinger

Maybe dumb, maybe no?

Will the 450R swingarm fit the 400ex? I am assuming it will.
Another question. I know the 05 is shorter than the 06. So, does it equate to having a longer swinger?

yes, it will fit but you have to use the ENTIRE 450r rear end setup (swinger, linkage, carrier, axle, and brake system)

an 04-05 450r swinger is 1 1/4" longer than a stock 400 swinger. the 06 450r swinger is I THINK an extra 1 1/4" longer than the 04-05. if that helps

im pretty sure the 04 & 05's were the same length as a 400ex swinger and the 06 and newer were +1

nope, i checked my stock 04 450r swinger against a houser +1 1/4 400ex swinger i had. exactly the same.
