AMA nationals inspection?

I was just wondering what all do they check durin the inspections at nationals, and what do i need to pass.

Been a while since I ran a national. They usually check for width (50" max),working tether style kill switch,NO sharp purtruding points or edges,and I believe they may check for sound levels now...maybe only pros though.Hope that helps you out a lil bit.

Yeah went there last year. Pretty nice little track. I would recommend going if you've never been.

ive never been checked for sound, maybe the pros do but never seen them do the ams, maybe they play it by track location to save time? unadilla is in the middle of no where so they might not bother to speed things along

when i raced mill creek i just rolled through the bars to check width, the guy kinda looked at the bike and gave me a sticker, went real quick

They usually check for your quad to be 50" or less, that you have a working tether switch then they check for any sharp or things sticking out like said above and that you have cotter pins in all your steering components.

well ive been at most of the nats this year so far

they check width and they checked my teather once or twice thats it

XC nationals don't care about your width.:) Roll into the tent, make sure your transponder works, pull tether, get sticker for helmet, and get outta there
