i ran it for years in my 250r and never had any problems with it...

i havent had to change the coolant in my YFZ yet, and havent really thought about if i will run it or not

I also changed to cv4 hoses will this all help with a little extra hp?

They withstand lower and higher temps so yea they should help.....I have tho's also!
I also put a mod-quad hi-flo impeller, and that helped A LOT.....but i suggest you to do that when you start leaking coolant!

Anyone here ever notice there quad running extremely hot after a moto? I'm thinking about using engine ice and getting the high flow impeller but I want results, not just some bull **** label you know.

if your quads running too hot thats its rediculous you mite wanna check your jetting!? but other than that what i find good & bad with engine ice is the bike wont run hott, it will just eat a lot of the coolant....so its better for the bike and a little more heavy on the wallet:p

But you do feel a diffrence with the high-flo impeller with engine ice

Engine Ice works very well - we use it in all of our machines....
