I really don't like the look of the big square headlight on my 300ex is there a way to change it to the 400ex lights? has anyone changed out there light? Is there a nice kit or something out there to change it? pictures would be great.

see if you can convert to the newer style 300ex plastics

You can rig some round fog lights to the bumper or if you still have the fenders and support arms, drill a hole through those and you can slide lights into there. Or if you have a 400's lights, you could see about cutting into the hood I thought about doing it but then i looked at the prices of hoods and I didn't wanna mess with that price back then. Now i do though. This pic is them on the fender mounts.

What you can do is buy a 250r stock style hood off of dennis kirk and the 300ex headlight fits perfectly in there. Nice looking change.

Does the 250r hood fit right on the stock 300 fenders?

You have to do some cutting but its as straight forward as it gets. Takes about 30 minutes to do it.

I like te 250r hood idea, i might have to try it, what year has that style, I cant remember

do what i did use the fender supports and bolt them where the rubber pices go:scary:
